Entrepreneur Week Feature Company: Launch Leads

In conclusion of our week-long recognition of Utah Entrepreneur Day, the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum features a final company from our Top 25 Under 5 2011 awards group.

Top 25 Under 5 winners are companies that are less than five years old, and who show outstanding performance and exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit of Utah. We select 25 companies to recognize each year as part of our annual effort to highlight Utah’s outstanding entrepreneurial environment, and the excellence of our local Utah business leadership.

Today’s feature company is Launch Leads.

Launch Leads is based in Salt Lake City and was created to help businesses grow faster. They fill their clients’ sales pipelines with qualified leads and scheduled sales appointments. They also take all the risk; if the lead doesn’t show up or doesn’t meet your pre-set criteria, you don’t pay. A great way to get your business off the ground in a hurry.

Congratulations to Launch Leads and all our Top 25 Under 5 winners, and to the great selection of companies we featured this week as our tribute to Utah’s Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneur Day.

UVEF Presents: Nail It Then Scale It with Paul Ahlstrom!

UVEF Presents: ‘Nail It Then Scale It’ with Paul Ahlstrom!

Thursday, October 13
Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Novell Education Center, Building A

Paul Ahlstrom, Author of Nail It Then Scale It has spent his career in the early-stage startup environment.

Paul will present to us the principles in his book Nail It Then Scale It, which he co-authored with Nathan Furr. From the Amazon description, we learn:

Why do most new businesses fail, yet a few entrepreneurs have a habit of winning over and over again? The shocking discovery of years of research and trial is that most startups fail by doing the “right things,” but doing them out of order. In other words, human nature combined with our entrepreneurial drive puts us on autopilot to become part of the 70% to 90% of ventures that fail. From Thomas Edison to Steve Jobs, the Nail It Then Scale It method is based on pattern recognition of the timeless principles and key practices used by successful entrepreneurs to repeatedly innovate.
